Start learning about intuitive and mindful approaches to food. This series provides a forum for growth and healing by introducing and simplifying the principals of intuitive and mindful eating. These principals will help you explore your hunger and fullness, learn your eating style and build mindful eating techniques in a way that will eventually become a natural part of your daily life.

This group is ideal for individuals who have completed the Food Science group and are ready to start integrating both food science and intuitive eating into their daily lives. We will review some basic nutrition science and incorporate additional skills related to mindful eating, environmental and visual aspects of food, and how to integrate fun and excitement into meal times.

Nourishment Group provides space for you to explore how life and nutrition parallel is this challenging culture surrounded by diets, weight loss and the strive for “perfection.” By exploring Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as well as our current needs and surroundings, we will dig deeper into our relationship with food. Connect how you nourish yourself and how you live your life while bring awareness and understanding to each of our unique relationships.
