Mindful Eating Educational Group (PART 1)

(6 week series: Tuesdays 6-7pm: MARCH 20th - APRIL 24th 2018)
(6 week series: Tuesdays 6-7pm: AUGUST 14th - SEPTEMBER 18th 2018)
This group is open to all who want to learn about intuitive and mindful approaches to food.
Join our Dietitian led mindful/intuitive group series. This 6-week series provides a forum for growth and healing by introducing and simplifying the concept of intuitive and mindful eating in a way that will eventually become natural to incorporate into your daily lives. This group is also beneficial for those already familiar with mindful eating but could use some brushing up on their skills.

Food Science Educational Group 

(8 week series: Wednesdays APRIL 4th - MAY 30th 2018)
In our day-to-day lives we are bombarded with many messages about "diets" "good foods" "bad foods" "organic" "natural" "calories" and "body ideals", that when it's all said and done, it appears there's nothing left. Often times this leaves us with frustration, guilt or even shame around our eating experiences. It's hard to siphon through and decide what messages are helpful and what is doing more harm than good.
This group series is designed to, clear out marketing jumble. return to science and reconnect with your body.
During our six weeks together, we will have interactive groups based on how our bodies need and receive food for nourishment.

Nutrition Connection Educational Group (PART 1)

(6 week series: Tuesdays 6-7pm: MAY 1st - JUNE 5th 2018)
This group is open to all who want to begin the connection between nutrition and living. The first step to a lifelong healthy relationship with food is awareness.
This series will focus on bringing that awareness to our own relationship with food and connecting how we nourish ourselves to how we live our lives - what area are working and what areas can use more attention.

(6 week series: OCTOBER 9th - NOVEMBER 13th 2018)
This group is open to all wanting to experience mindful eating. Join our Dietitian led mindful eating experiential series. This series provides space to explore and experience mindful eating in a safe compassionate environment.

Nutrition Connection Experiential Group (PART 2)

(6 week series: Tuesdays 6-7pm: JUNE 19th - JULY 24th 2018)
This group open to all that have attended Nutrition Connection PART 1 and want to begin exploring and experiencing thier connection between nutrition and living.
After developing awareness in PART 1, we will now dig down deep to the root of our relationship with food and experience food in a new light.  This series will connect knowledge to life experiences.

Joyful Kitchen Experiential Group

(8 week series: Mondays JULY 2nd - AUGUST 27th 2018)
Multiple times per day we are faced with the need to nourish ourselves. 
Do you feel comfortable in a grocery store?
Do you feel safe in your own kitchen?  
Is cooking/food prep a new concept for you?  
Get comfortable with your kitchen skills this summer and join our joyful kitchen experiential group!

Thursdays at 6:00 - 7:00 PM (Ongoing Group)
Finding joy in the "process". Creating an environment filled with support around body and food positivity. This group is designed to evolve and adapt each week to better suit group member's needs.

Mealtime Support Group

Starting - not currently running 
This group will be held in Nutritious Thoughts dining room.
We invite all individuals needing support druing their recovery process to join our WEEKLY DIETITIAN LED MEALTIME SUPPORT GROUP.
This group is designed to assist participants in gaining support during mealtime.

Workshops & Other Events

Spring THRIVE Workshop

MARCH 24th 2018 - Saturday 9-12pm
Just as life's seasons bring new opportunities and challenges, seasonal change can as well. The changing of seasons can be a chance to evaluate where you're at in life, what goals you have for yourself and where you're at on your own unique journey. During our quarterly THIRVE groups we will spend time sharing specific challenges and highlights of the season, connecting with others over experiences and successes, and developing a plan for embracing change. Come join us for inspiring discussion as well as hands on activities that will empower you to be present and thrive during the year's seasons.The SPRING season is a time to plant seeds for the upcoming month. Join us for a 4-hour workshop focusing on making spring a time to plant new ideas and intentions.
