MS, RD, LDN, Professional Development Coordinator, Outpatient Dietitian
I was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology, I uprooted and moved to Asheville to complete my dietetic internship and become a Registered Dietitian. It was during this time that I developed a passion for nutrition counseling in the treatment of eating disorders. I also gained valuable experience working with collegiate athletes and various athletic populations. The people, spirit, and beauty of Asheville encouraged me to establish permanent roots in Western NC and get involved with local practitioners and the community.
I enjoy forming authentic relationships with my clients and I look forward to helping facilitate positive change in those that I have the opportunity to meet and interact with. I am currently working towards my certified eating disorder dietitian certification (CEDRD) and I serve as a group facilitator for Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders (CRC for ED). I am eager to be a part of the wonderful and inspiring group of women at Nutritious Thoughts, LLC., and I am excited to work with individuals to create a sustainable, nourishing, and enjoyable relationship with food.
I specialize in the areas of disordered eating, eating disorders, substance abuse, and sports nutrition.
