RD, LDN, Clinical/Program Coordinator
I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I have taken the unconventional route with my education, beginning at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where I graduated with a Major in Health and Minor in Education. Yearning for a change of scenery, I packed my bags for Bozeman, Montana where I fully embraced all the West had to offer me. While I always had a strong interest in nutrition, it was the essence of Bozeman that influenced me to return to school to pursue a career in Dietetics.
After graduating with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from Montana State University, I completed my Dietetic Internship at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, North Carolina. It was during my internship that I developed a calling and passion towards nutrition counseling and the specialty of eating disorders. I have since been pursuing my passion at Nutritious Thoughts, LLC and now hold the title of Clinical Coordinator. I am currently working towards my eating disorder certification (CEDRD) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) and serve as a support group leader at local non-profit Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders (CRC for ED). I truly look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of those who walk through the doors of Nutritious Thoughts, LLC.
I specialize in the areas of eating disorders, disordered eating, weight concerns, co-occurring mental illness, mindful & intuitive eating and sports nutrition.
