MS, RD, LDN, Media Coordinator, Outpatient Dietitian
I originated from the rolling Pennsylvania hills in a small town called Greensburg. Transplanted into the South, I spent my adolescent years in Burlington, North Carolina and attended college at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After graduating with a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Psychology, I set my sights on expanding my education and received my Master of Science in Nutrition from Appalachian State University two years later. My passions in providing holistic nutrition counseling and promoting body acceptance were ignited during my graduate career, and I couldn’t be more excited about having the opportunity to pursue these passions with Nutritious Thoughts, LLC. I am actively pursuing my eating disorder certification (CEDRD) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). You can also find me leading groups at the local non-profit organization, Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders (CRC for ED). I look forward to assisting my clients in their individual journeys in developing a positive relationship with food and achieving balanced nutrition and improved well-being.
I specialize in the areas of eating disorders, disordered eating, weight concerns, substance abuse and/or a co-occurring mental illness, mindful & intuitive eating and sports nutrition.
