Outpatient Dietitian

(He/They)

How would you describe your approach to nutrition counseling?

My approach to nutrition counseling is rooted in compassion and empathy. I strive to co-create a space where all folks feel heard and feel free to explore their relationship with nutrition, well-being, food, embodiment and more.

Which avenues of dietetics do you feel most passionate about pursuing?

I’m very passionate about the power of just holding space and listening – so 1:1 nutrition counseling is a very good specific avenue for me. In a larger sense, I am dedicated to building a world rooted in true liberation for all people – this is a guiding principle for me.

If you were to have any other profession other than Registered Dietitian, what would it be and why?

I think this would change quite often for me as I love learning new things. Currently it would be something to foster/inspire awe and connection between people – perhaps being a documentary film maker! Always on the list is being a farmer/gardener.

Where can we find you when you’re not in client sessions?

I love spending time with the people I love (including my hound dog, Frankie), time outdoors, gardening, cooking, listening to music and going to see live music. Most often you will probably find me drinking a cup of coffee with a good book in hand.
