Outpatient Dietitian

(She/Her/Hers)

How would you describe your approach to nutrition counseling?

My approach to nutrition counseling is collaborative and compassionate. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you feel seen, supported, and respected. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and together, we can create an individualized plan that best suits your unique needs and goals.

Which avenues of dietetics do you feel most passionate about pursuing?

I’m passionate about helping people develop intuitive eating practices and reduce nutrition overwhelm. My goal is to help individuals build a balanced, and enjoyable relationship with food and their body, ultimately supporting well-being and quality of life. I am also interested in the relationship between eating disorders and plant-based eating, and how we can honor individuals’ values while supporting recovery.

If you were to have any other profession other than Registered Dietitian, what would it be and why?

I’m inspired by the arts and sciences and love creative problem-solving. In another life, I would love to be a historical home preservationist, mechanical engineer, botanist, or work with an animal rescue.

Where can we find you when you’re not in client sessions?

When I’m not in client sessions, you can find me outside—walking, hiking, or gardening. I also enjoy listening to music, painting, hanging out with dogs, and exploring local farmers’ markets and restaurants. You might also find me at home, lounging with a TV episode or two, or developing my yoga and meditation practices.
