Outpatient Dietitian

(She/Her/Hers)

How would you describe your approach to nutrition counseling?

I work together with clients to ensure that the goals and plans we create are realistic and sustainable in the context of their life. There is so much nuance to nutrition, and I love exploring that with each person in a collaborative and judgment-free space. At the heart of my work is helping people feel empowered, supported, and more at peace with food.

Which avenues of dietetics do you feel most passionate about pursuing?

In a world full of conflicting and overwhelming nutrition information, I am passionate about helping others gain the clarity to nourish themselves confidently. I enjoy working with clients across a wide range of nutrition concerns and chronic diseases, with a special interest in gastrointestinal health. I also love incorporating in the culinary side of nutrition to help clients discover new ways to prepare and enjoy food that feels approachable rather than complicated.

If you were to have any other profession other than Registered Dietitian, what would it be and why?

I think it would be fun to be a private chef or run a bakery, because I love creating things in the kitchen for my friends and family. I could also see myself as a musician, because music has always been a big part of my life. I would either play viola in an orchestra or guitar in a rock band!

Where can we find you when you’re not in client sessions?

Outside of client sessions on a typical night, you can find me cuddling with my dog, reading a book, or whipping up something in the kitchen. My husband and I are also known to attend a lot of concerts and take hiking trips to National Parks around the country!
