Haley Griffith, MPH, RD, LDN

Outpatient Dietitian

(She/Her/Hers)

How would you describe your approach to nutrition counseling?

When working with patients, I try to take a holistic approach that centers their experiences. I believe in being a conduit of information for the person that I am fortunate enough to work with.

Which avenues of dietetics do you feel most passionate about pursuing?

I am interested in understanding more about food systems, the culture(s) around what and how we eat, and in encouraging intention and joy in how we feed ourselves.

If you were to have any other profession other than Registered Dietitian, what would it be and why?

If I were to be anything else, I would like to be a ecologist. I read “My Life with the Chimpanzees” by Jane Goodall as a kid and always appreciated her passion for what she did. I am the type of person who wants my job to really reflect my passions and show in everything that I do.

Where can we find you when you’re not in client sessions?

In the woods! I love to hike and spend time in nature, especially in the Spring and Fall. I garden a lot and enjoy reading in my free time.
