Dominick Lux

Scheduling & Client Relations Coordinator

(He/They)

How would you describe your approach to communicating with clients, family members, and loved ones?

I enjoy interacting from a place of genuine curiosity and empathy. It’s important for me to be honest while remaining compassionate to others, in order to develop an environment where people feel safe to be genuine.

What makes you feel passionate about being a part of Nutritious Thoughts?

I feel passionate about being part of a nutrition clinic that helps support people in a variety of ways around food, rather than a black and white approach. I think that living in a culture where disordered eating is the norm, it’s really important to have practices like Nutritious Thoughts that offers support around getting back in touch with our bodies and food.

If you were to have any other profession other than Administrative Assistant, what would it be and why?

I could see myself pursuing creativity and art related endeavors, like working on a homestead and selling homemade goods from the farm, or working in a field that helps support others socially and/or mentally.

Where can we find you when you're not working?

When I’m not working you can find me cooking or fermenting goods in the kitchen, singing, or sipping hot tea on my porch. I really enjoy taking part in activities that are really nourishing to my nervous system and make me feel regulated.
